Spoke Health is a multi-channel engagement and cost and quality transparency solution that helps consumers learn about their benefits, navigate and select a provider and securely communicate with a concierge or care manager before and after a care procedure. Simultaneously, Spoke enables concierge and care managers to leverage embedded clinical pathways and workflow tools to guide consumers to higher quality, lower-cost providers and create a personalized and positive healthcare experience for all stakeholders.

BUSINESS CHALLANGE

In all regions across the USA, there are cost differences 3x or higher for the same procedure and often the lower cost providers have higher quality ratings. The priority for Spoke Health is to assist consumers in navigating complex healthcare decisions and guide them to high quality but lower cost providers. Additionally, Spoke provides human care coordinators to provide a positive experience of care. Spoke needed a mobile-ready tech solution to guide the patients through their episodes, and a custom work-flow CRM tool for their care coordinators.

Our goal is to bridge the transactions from patients, to advocates, to providers, and to admins seamlessly. We are to create products that solve the gap within the transactions between different roles. Our  priority is to make Spoke Health successful in assisting consumers navigate complex healthcare decisions and guide them to higher quality but lower cost providers, and give them a positive experience of care. OUR SOLUTION

Our solution is to analyze the effects of HIPAA compliance, security, and scalability on the architecture of the platform to combine everything and create a simple and intuitive user experience that makes a difficult process for a patient a much easier and seamless experience. In addition, a platform that can accommodate surgeries, imaging, PT,  Rx, wellness, Pre-Op and Post-Op modules and can also be used as a SaSS business is built by our engineers.

TEAM SETUP

Development team consists of 11 developers based in the Philippines: 1 Product Owner, 1 Project Manager,3 frontend, 5 backend, 2 QA. We work closely with the Client Service Team and the Infrastructure Team to offer tech support and maintenance, when needed.

We worked in an agile mode, using specific Agile methodologies: daily scrum meetings with sprints and demo release every two weeks.
